Just felt its time to have an update. Since I last posted, I've been busy with my web project. It's getting really interesting for me, and I am learning a lot along the way too.
I'm pretty excited about the next "meet" my college friends and I will have this Saturday. I have to SMS them to confirm. I hope we'll all be able to make it again, and also have other college classmates join us.

College Friends
Last week Tuesday, I received a text message from Yolly - a college friend I haven't seen since we graduated! She told me this time that we meet, along with other members of our "group". We were initially supposed to meet April 27 at Alabang Town Center... many text messages later, it was finally decided to meet on April 30 (Monday) at Mall of Asia at 1pm to accommodate everyone as much as possible. Among the 8 that usually hang out together in college, only 7 made it.
I was pretty excited about this since I last saw 3 of them in 2004, if I'm not mistaken - and the others since we last reviewed together for our board exam. The day finally came, and I was really glad to see these girls once again. We had lunch (belatedly) at Super Bowl. We all particularly liked their Cuttlefish dish - I just can't remember what it's exactly called. In the photo on the right, you'll our first group photo. From left to right: Me, Yolly, Chan-Chan (Leah's niece - and no, she was not our college classmate. Leah just brought her along to see Mall of Asia), Aileen, Dina, Winnie, Sol, and Leah.
While waiting for the food to arrive, we spent the time catching up on each other's work, and then later swapped cellphones (and photo albums) so that we can see photos of their kids (those that have them). There are still 3 single in our group, myself included. Ah, but I don't feel bad about that at all. The time will come - but I'm not rushing either. I'm pretty sure the other two single girls (Aileen and Leah) feel the same. ;) :D
After Super Bowl, we decided to have some coffee to continue our chit-chat. And it's really amazing to see how time flies. I believe we all felt that we haven't really talked everything out from each other, and so we decided to see each other again this May 26. :D We will be meeting at Robinson's Imus and then head out to Sol's place in Tagaytay. This would be interesting - it has been ages since we've last been at their place.
